Landon Muzio (President of KSBA)

Landon Muzio is the owner of 808&Bench in Kamloops and a member of the Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association. He has worked on several skateboard park projects with New Line Skateparks and has raised funds for numerous skatepark locations.

Landon began skateboarding when he was 12 years old. He was part of the legendary Rowdies crew with Replay Boardshop in Abbotsford from 1997-2000. He has struggled with knee injuries most of his life but continues to skateboard whenever he can to this day. He maintains a strong relationship within the skateboard industry while running his skate shop full-time.

“Skateboarding is a way of life. It is a love hate relationship and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else.”

Eddy Davis (Vice President of KSBA)

Eddy Davis works in government and infrastructure, and knows the funding and application aspects very well. Having built several publicly funded parks already, he is excited and committed to expanding the number of skateboard venues in the Kamloops area.

Eddy learned to skateboard when he was 38, as a way to get some exercise when his kids were little. Now he has a home ramp and he and his kids love to shred everywhere they go. He always has his deck in the trunk of his car and carries a leaf blower at all times to clean out random parks he comes across.

James McGettigan (Secretary of KSBA)

James grew up skateboarding in the 1980's, and after a 24 year hiatus started shredding again.  James has past experience as chair, vice chair, and multiple positions on committees of his professional regulatory body The College of Massage Therapists of BC, and he continues to serve as a member of the Inquiry committee on a regular basis.   His passion for skateboarding and his previous and current experience will prove an asset for the KSBA.  You might see him at the skatepark with his two boys, teaching them to skate, or sweeping the bowl, and ripping it up.
